So my buddy Justice sent me a link to YouTube for one of the new Mac/PC commercials where PC is going in for "surgery" because he needs to upgrade to Vista. Let's see how this would play out if I was writing it:
Mac: Hello, I'm a Mac
PC: And I'm a PC
/PC is dressed up in a sweet look while Mac is dressed in a hospital gown with a suitcase
Mac: Hey PC, I thought you had surgery today?
PC: Yeah, I had to upgrade my video card because of Vista, but its all good. It was just day surgery...in and out! Where are you going?!
Mac: Oh, I'm getting a video card upgrade as well, but my user can't do it himself; he has to take me to a repair depot.
PC: Ooooh.....
Mac: Yeah, and they usually take a few days...our video cards are soldered onto the logic board, so I'm getting a whole new logic board put in. I hope they aren't backordered...
PC: Well, can't they take you in to somewhere else where you can get it done faster?
Mac: No...there's only a couple of places that perform this type of work...and the parts all get flown in from California.
PC: Oh, well, good luck! I'm off to play games
/Mac starts sobbing uncontrollably.
Don't believe the hype. Vista rocks.
